ARIS Solutions Wins Coveted ‘Gold Award’ in Vermont Governor’s Workplace Wellness Competition
[White River Junction, VT, November 15, 2023] —ARIS Solutions [arissolutions.org], a Vermont-based 501 (c)-3 nonprofit organization that provides financial services, payroll, administrative and tax-related services to assist individuals, families and non-profits, is the proud recipient of a Vermont Governor’s Award for Excellence in Worksite Wellness. The award, which recognizes Vermont employers for their efforts and policies to support workers’ wellness, was announced and presented last month, in Burlington, Vermont.
Developed by the Vermont Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports more than 20 years ago, the award is presented annually to outstanding employers throughout Vermont, to help advance the cause of excellence in worksite wellness. ARIS Solutions was one of 77 Vermont companies and organizations that were honored with this year’s top award—a Gold rating. Other companies and service organizations were awarded Silver and Bronze ratings in the competition.
A spokesperson for the Governor’s Council noted that the employee wellness programs at worksites help prevent or reverse chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and musculoskeletal pain. “They also boost camaraderie and mental wellbeing,” the spokesperson added.
