Maine Veteran Directed Care State Programs
ARIS Solutions has been providing Veteran Directed Care (VDC) services since 2011. We’re exceptionally proud of our longevity providing financial management services to a wide array of veteran-related individuals and entities. At present, ARIS Solutions serves an estimated 875 veterans through its existing VDC programs.
Current Programs
As these programs continue to grow and new opportunities develop in other states, ARIS Solutions continues its involvement with VDC programs to provide Veterans and their families the Financial Management Services they need to continue care in their home. Taking the burden of tax filings and payroll processes off the Veteran allows them the time to self-direct individual care needs and provides the opportunity to focus on what matters the most to them.
Aroostook Agency on Aging offers many programs and services focused on meeting the needs for those of us aging independently in rural Maine, most free of charge.
It is the mission of Eastern Area Agency on Aging to provide older adults, caregivers and adults with disabilities in Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis and Washington counties in Maine with the information and access to resources they need to be healthy, engaged and supported in their communities.

SeniorsPlus is here to help adults make informed choices about aging well and living independently and safely at home. Our services include nutrition, education, counseling, and homecare coordination.
The mission of SeniorsPlus is to enrich the lives of older people and adults with disabilities, their families and communities, and to support them to make informed choices. SeniorsPlus envisions a future where all older adults and individuals with disabilities are engaged and respected while living quality, independent lives in the communities of their choice.
